Rich with history as well as beauty, the gardens and surrounding arboretum offer something for everyone. Please call for details.

City of Brookfield Parks
City of Brookfield Parks offer bike trails, swimming, hiking and ski trails, canoe access, concerts, picnic and rental facilities and center for the arts.

Emma Carlin Trail
Sister system to John Muir Trail. A trail less traveled. 2 - 4 miles, extremely difficult sections cannot be avoided.

Fox Brook Park
Park Hours: Sunrise to 10 p.m. year-round. Fox Brook Park is well known for it's swimming beach located around a man-made lake. Families can enjoy a day of swimming, pedal boating or scuba-diving. This 173-acre park site consists of 128 acres of wet lands, which will be perserved and protected as a natural habitat and open space area.

Fox River Park
A 262-acre park beside the Fox River. fishing, picnic areas, hiking trail and cross-country skiing.

Greenway Trail System
A planned 26-mile city-wide system of recreational trails that connect parks and other community facilities with the regional trail system.

John Muir Trail
Explore southern Kettle Moraine. Stop in Palmyra to share stories about your ride. 1.5 - 6.8 miles. Extremely difficult!

Lapham Peak Kettle Moraine State Forest
Beautiful view from the 45' observation tower, miles of hiking, cross country ski (lighted trails), mountain bike and horse trails, picnic areas.

Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory Dome
The only horticultural structure of its kind in the world. Visit the Tropical Dome, the Arid Dome and the Show Dome.

Naga-Waukee Park
Group camping, hiking, beach, boat launch with access to fishing, sailing, water skiing, canoeing, picnic sites, volleyball and more.
