Glass Nickel Pizza Co. started out in 1997 with a simple vision: to make the best pizza around for our neighborhood. We decided to do it with fresh ingredients, a big menu, and gracious service for the good folks who visited us (or gave us a call to order). Now, more than 20 years later, our vision has done more than come to life — it’s expanded to include many more neighborhoods, making for a big Glass Nickel family that truly cares about each other, their communities, and, of course, making great pizza. Ok, more than great pizza. We’ve got plenty of salads, sandwiches, wings, and more to go around, too. Any and all are invited to come in or call, grab a bite, and become part of that family!
Culver’s ButterBurgers are made the way they are today because that’s how his mom always did it. Still, we use fresh, never frozen, 100% Midwest beef, seared to perfection and served on a lightly buttered toasted bun for that extra touch of goodness. Sure, it takes a bit longer doing it that way, but boy is it worth the wait.
Our commitment to crafting the world’s finest Fresh Frozen Custard also remains the same today as when we served our very first scoop. We use the finest dairy, plus cold-pressed vanilla and Dutch-blend chocolate, and make every batch fresh, right in the restaurant throughout the day.
